How the camp runs - It is basically one big party! A main leader of camp is assigned who will be responsible for the day. Your daughter will be put in a group with a team leader who will guide and look after her during her time at camp.

Contact with us - once you sign up, we will send you all the information you need to know about camp, as well as the best point of contact for the day/days where your daughter is at camp.

What to provide - packed lunch (nut free), snack & to wear clothing which is comfortable and suitable for arts and crafts (and slime!!!)

GLITTER CAMP LTD TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2024 - VENUE CAMPS & AT HOME PRIVATE GROUPS 
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully and retain this document for personal reference.
When you book any service provided by Glitter Camp, you are signifying your agreement to the Terms and Conditions described below.
Please read these carefully as it is your responsibility to pay attention to them.
When you submit a payment for your booking it will be considered as though you have agreed to and accepted the terms and conditions as described below. The organiser of camp is the individual/individuals who deal with your bookings via email correspondence.

Payments
• You will have received an email / phone booking to confirm the amount due for your booking.
• All payments made non-refundable.
• We do not accept child care vouchers or payment by cheque. Payments and deposits are non-refundable.
• If the payment is not made by the specified date, you risk losing your place at camp and we will not necessarily notify you of this.
• If you have any remaining credit with us, this will be issued towards your booking and you will be notified.
• Please note: Your payment for camp will now include a 10% non-refundable administration deposit which will be taken per child per day for all bookings for camp to cover the booking fee and securing the place at our venue.
1. Cancellation policy
• Taking into consideration that unforeseen circumstances can arise, should you need to cancel your space at venue camp for a particular day or week, please see the options available to you:
(1) You may swap your date with another individual who wishes to join – notice must be given prior and you are to arrange this between yourselves.
(2) You may discuss with the organiser another way to make use of your credit.
• Notice must be given for cancellation. If your child does not show up for venue camp you will risk losing the value of the day.
• Glitter Camp reserves the right to cancel your at spot at venue camp and will give you notice if required. If this happens you will be entitled to a full refund for the day canceled
• For any other reasons where camp needs to be canceled due to circumstances out of our control (e.g. government guidelines, rules or new regulations which we will be bound to
follow), you will be informed of what the next stages are and your options to reserve your credit for future use/refunds where applicable.
In the unlikely event that we cancel camp by our own choice, you will be refunded in full/credited and given this option.
2. Changing your booking
You can move your dates subject to availability, free of any Admin Fees, provided you do so more than 21 days from the first camp date .
For anything after the 21 day period, it will be at the discretion of Glitter Camp to allow
you to change your booking accordingly.
Due to the demand and circumstances at the time this cannot always be guaranteed.
Please also note that all preparation is made in advance for your child to ensure they have a great day.

As we offer a discounted weekly price, if you wish to cancel a day(s) within a week, we will then recalculate your booking at the daily rate (at the time of your original booking) which may result in an additional charge.

If you give us less than 21 days’ notice before the date(s) you would like to cancel, no refund is available but depending on the circumstances you may be eligible for a credit note depending on the circumstances.

3. Home camp/private bookings

Glitter camp takes no responsibility for damage to property or items in the environment in which the group session takes place. It is the responsibility of the home owner/host/group organiser to ensure the environment is suitable for arts and crafts. This includes covering any furniture or flooring which is at risk of getting damaged. When making payment for these sessions, the client agrees that the responsibility falls on them. Glitter Camp will use its discretion where necessary.

4. Clothes and items
Glitter Camp takes no responsibility for damage to clothes or the loss of items etc brought to the venue camp days.
It is your responsibility to ensure your children are dressed suitably for camp each day.
It is your responsibility to ensure your children have water with them at camp. We will encourage them to drink throughout the day / fill up.
It is your responsibility to sort out the lunch arrangements and snacks for your children participating.
It is your duty to have notified us in writing about your child’s dietary / allergy requirements on the booking form.
If you wish to send your child to camp with a spare change of clothes please do so.
5. Offers and Discounts
The best available price will always be offered to you at the time of booking as well as any sibling discounts and early bird rates if applicable.
These may not be available if you are booking on late notice (within a week of camp commencing)
6. Health and safety 
We take the safety and wellbeing of your children very seriously.
It is your responsibility to make sure that your child is fit and well for camp and is in good health.
For any type of illness we kindly ask that you do not send your children to the venue.
Please let the organiser know prior and we will sort out another arrangement for you accordingly.
Glitter Camp reserves the right to send children home should the child at camp display any signs of illness.
You understand by booking onto Glitter Camp at our venue that the girls will all be sharing one big space in the hall and will be sectioned out accordingly in small groups.
7. Photography
Unless stated otherwise in your forms, Glitter Camp reserves the right to take photos of the at venue camp for social media, advertising purposes.
If you do not consent to your child’s photo being taken, please make us aware before attending camp by email or in writing – not verbally.

8. Allergies, medical notice, contact information
Please ensure your form is up to date and all of the correct information has been sent.
It is your responsibility to inform the organiser of any changes.

9. Misbehavior
At Glitter Camp we reserve the right to send home any participants who misbehave at venue camp. The same applies for home camp sessions. 
Glitter Camp has a responsibility for ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in our care and has a ZERO tolerating policy for any behaviour which is disruptive or inappropriate in any way.
This policy includes - bullying and persistent poor behaviour of any kind, irrespective of any special needs.
On rare occasions, and in more serious cases, we reserve the right to ask parents to remove children from camp either for the remainder of the day or for the remainder of any sessions booked. No refund will be made for any remaining days booked, and any costs associated with
the exclusion will be the parents’ responsibility.

10. Illness and First Aid
Glitter Camp requires that all children who are ill or infectious be kept home for the full duration of their ailment.
In the unlikely event of an accident, first aid will be administered to children in our care, and the emergency services will be called if necessary.
Essential prescribed medication including Epipens must be handed in to the Camp Leader for safekeeping.
Please be responsible when making a decision about bringing your child – bringing a child who is mildly ill, even if you are sure they are well enough to attend, could threaten the health of other children, and of the staff.
11. Drop off at camp
Do not enter the hall until you have been signed off. This may mean waiting in a line with parents. For home camp sessions an adult should always be present within the household other than the person running the session from Glitter Camp. 
You must write your child's name on all items brought to camp. Please ensure you have let us know about all alternative pick up arrangements in writing. 
If someone who is collecting your child has not been mentioned on your sign up form, please make the organiser of camp aware by stipulating the going home arrangements in writing (by
email).
